Program Overview

Your CIEE Summer Global Internship program in Buenos Aires lasts 8 weeks and features two key components: a full-time internship with an international organization (approximately 30-40 hours per week) and an internship seminar. Enhance your experience with co-curricular and extracurricular activities while building career skills, expanding your professional network, and immersing yourself in Argentine culture. Live, learn, and work in Buenos Aires!

Excursions & Activities


CIEE’s excursions and cultural activities in Buenos Aires will open doors for you to explore Argentina’s rich diversity, language, culture, history, and timeless beauty in ways that will enhance your time abroad.   

Samples of past excursions and activities:
  • Participate in an empanada-making workshop to learn the art of crafting traditional Argentine cuisine
  • Enjoy a private tango lesson followed by a visit to a milonga to experience the local dance culture firsthand
  • Take a boat trip to the Tigre Delta, exploring its unique waterways and enjoying lunch on one of the islands
