Program Description:
About Italy
Italy is known for its warm people, outstanding cuising, varied land and seascapes, and unparalleled artistic and historic wonders. It’s not surprising that Italy, the country with the most UNESCO world heritage sites in the world, seems to change within the distance of only a few kilometers! Italy’s variety never ceases to surprise: from culture, to food, to language, to weather, to landscape, and to personality. With 45 world heritage sites - 47 if you include those found in the Republic of San Marino and the Vatican: two countries located entirely within the Italian peninsula - Italy is certainly never boring!

About Florence University of the Arts
FUA is moldeled along the lines of a US-style higher education institution. Instruction in the English language allows FUA to offer a wide range of academic disciplines and it is comprised of multiple colleges or schools of study. FUA encourages students to go beyond classroom learning by promoting interaction with the multicultural societies and creative presences in the city of Florence. Their extensive experiential learning and internship offerings allow students to gain hands on experiences related to their fields of interest while connecting to peoples and cultures different to their own.

At FUA, students can study courses specific to their major or minor, study another language, and engage with a new culture. FUA even offer courses on the food and pastries of Italy that involve food tours - Andiamo!
